We hope that many of you enjoyed TEDxUniversityofGlasgow’s first salon event, Humans Need Not Apply. If you missed the mini-conference then here is a brief synopsis of what was covered. Alessandro Vinciarelli, Katerina Manoli, and Alexandre Cohen led the evening with an intriguing – sometimes frightening and sometimes awe inspiring – discussion about the future of robotics and technology. A provocative and exciting round of questions and answers followed.
This conversation was continued in GrosvenorCafé. Here, speakers and audience members enjoyed the consumption of food, drink, and intriguing discussion.
Below are photos taken from the evening’s event. We look forward to seeing you at our next mini-conference, All Kinds of Minds on the 9th of November!
